Naturopathy, one of India seven AYUSH systems, is a centuries old, drugless healing system focusing on the body self-healing capabilities. It is based on balancing the five elements (fire, water, ether, wood, air) within the body, mirroring nature composition.
The Naturopathy Registration Board (NRB), under the Ministry of AYUSH, registers practitioners and accredits institutions and hospitals. Graduates of a Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences (BNYS) from a UGC-recognized university are eligible for registration.
