Don Bosco College of Agriculture is run by the Salesians of Don Bosco. It is the only Catholic institution in India offering a four-year professional Agriculture course and a two-year diploma in Agriculture. Our college is affiliated with Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU), Coimbatore, and is situated in Sagayathottam, near Arakkonam.

Admission Process

65% of the seats are allotted through Tamil Nadu Agricultural University counseling (www.tnau.ac.in), following the university admission process. The remaining 35% of the seats are filled through the college Management Quota, offering students an opportunity to secure admission directly through the institution. You may contact us directly, and we will assist with the online application process through TNAU. If registering independently, select Don Bosco College of Agriculture as the first preference during the TNAU application process.

Don Bosco College of Agriculture offers two programs: B.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture, a four-year course, and Diploma in Agriculture, a two-year course. Students from Bio Maths, Pure Science, and Vocational Stream in Agriculture are eligible to apply for both programs. Eligible students will receive a concession on college fees, and SC Christian students will receive a government scholarship of 63,500 per year. Admission to the SIARD - Diploma in Agriculture follows the same process as B.Sc. admission.
