1. LIC AAO Post and Job Role

LIC AAO Generalist and Specialist

• Job Role:
  • Handling administrative and financial operations.
  • Policy formulation and customer service.
  • Coordinating with various departments.
  • Claim processing, underwriting, and risk assessment.

2. LIC AAO Eligibility Criteria

• Nationality: Indian Citizen
• Age Limit: 21 - 30 years Relaxation for reserved categories as per government norms.
• Educational Qualification:
  • AAO Generalist: Bachelors degree in any discipline.
  • AAO IT: B.E. or B.Tech in IT or Computer Science or MCA or M.Sc Computer Science.
  • AAO Chartered Accountant: Bachelors degree and CA qualification.
  • AAO Actuarial: Bachelors degree with passing marks in CT1 and CT5 papers of the Institute of Actuaries of India IAI or the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, UK.
  • AAO Rajbhasha: Masters degree in Hindi or English with English or Hindi as a compulsory subject.

3. LIC AAO Exam Pattern and Selection Process

The selection process consists of:

1. Preliminary Exam Online - Objective
   • Reasoning Ability: 35 Marks
   • Quantitative Aptitude: 35 Marks
   • English Language: 30 Marks Qualifying
   • Total: 100 Marks
2. Mains Exam Online - Objective and Descriptive
   • Reasoning Ability
   • General Knowledge and Current Affairs
   • Data Analysis and Interpretation
   • Insurance and Financial Market Awareness
   • Descriptive Test Essay and Letter Writing
   • Total: 300 Marks
3. Interview Based on Mains Exam performance.
4. Medical Examination Final selection is subject to medical fitness.
