Don Bosco Vazhikaatti, Trichy, in association with Mother Gnanamma Womens College of Arts and Science, Varadharajanpet, Ariyalur, organized a successful campus recruitment drive. The event witnessed an impressive turnout with 136 pre-registered candidates and 123 walk-ins, offering a total of 279 job opportunities across various sectors. Five reputed companies participated in the drive to recruit potential talent.
The event was effectively coordinated by Rev. Sr. Joseph Rajeswari, Secretary of Mother Gnanamma Womens College. The drive was inaugurated by Rev. Fr. Daniel Sebastian SDB, Director of Don Bosco Vazhikaatti, alongside dignitaries including Rev. Dr. Sr. Stella Cynthia (Assistant Professor, Tamil), Rev. Sr. Kulandai Therse (Administrator), Rev. Sr. Celine Sharmila and Rev. Sr. Rose Rovina (Assistant Professors, English), Mr. Sudhakar (HR Manager, State Street IT), Mr. Suresh (Senior Manager, MRF Tyres, Perambalur), Dr. Amalorpavamary (Placement Officer), Mr. Arumairaj (Senior Placement Coordinator, Don Bosco Vazhikaatti), and Mr. Harish (Programme Manager, Don Bosco Job Placement Network).
The program began with a welcome address by Ms. Saranya, Assistant Professor of Physics. Rev. Fr. Daniel Sebastian SDB motivated the students to take full advantage of the opportunities presented. Mr. Arumairaj introduced the recruiters to the attendees, while Mr. Harish provided an overview of the Don Bosco Job Placement Network’s services and vision. Mr. Antony, Assistant Professor of Mathematics, delivered the vote of thanks to conclude the event.
The smooth execution of the drive was made possible by the collaborative efforts of Rev. Sr. Joseph Rajeswari, Rev. Fr. Daniel Sebastian SDB, Rev. Fr. Gabriel Karunaraj SDB (National Director, DBJPN), Dr. Amalorpavamary, Mr. Arumairaj, and Mr. Harish. Their leadership and coordination were instrumental in making the event a resounding success.
