Job Fair at Don Bosco Pvt. ITI, Kokar, Ranchi

Don Bosco Career Guidance and Job Placement Services, in collaboration with Don Bosco Pvt ITI, Ranchi, hosted a Job Fair on Friday, 27th September 2024. This event was conducted in partnership with the District Employment Exchange - Ranchi and the Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM) Archdiocese of Ranchi, providing numerous job opportunities for local youth. The Job Fair showcased more than 15 companies presenting over 1,000 job openings across various sectors. The event garnered an enthusiastic response, with over 500 candidates registered. More than 450 job opportunities were given during the fair. The fair was honored by the presence of several distinguished guests, including Rev. Fr. Babu Varghese SDB, the Rector of Don Bosco Kokar; Rev. Fr. Sumit, the Director of ICYM - Ranchi; Bro. Ignatius SDB, the Vice Principal of Don Bosco ITI - Ranchi; Fr. Gabriel SDB, the National Director of the Don Bosco Job Placement Network; Mr. Rajesh Kumar from the District Employment Office - Ranchi; and Mr. Praful, the Nodal Officer for ITI - Ranchi. The Job Fair provided a valuable platform for job seekers to explore career opportunities and engage with top employers. The dedication and hard work of the volunteers and staff from Don Bosco Pvt ITI, along with the efforts of Br. Tom SDB (Principal – Don Bosco Pvt ITI, Ranchi), Mr. Marcus Minj (Senior Placement Coordinator - JPN), Mr. John Martin (Programme Manager, JPN), and Mr. Harish (Programme Coordinator - JPN), were instrumental in the success of the event. This Job Fair marked a significant milestone in empowering the youth of Ranchi, offering them meaningful career prospects and guidance.
