The Flywayy Institute of Air Hostess Training has approached for the placement of hospitality students. Regarding this, there was a small meeting with Taramoni Basumatary, the BDM and director of the Flywayy group, Ms. Bobby Bor Borah, and Trishna Barpuzari respectively. They provided a brief detail about their company stating that it is based in Dubai and has tie-ups with properties like Trident hotels, ITC Hyderabad, Port Palacio, Oberoi hotels, etc. Addressing their concerns, Taramoni asked about food and accommodation for the candidates, to which they replied that most of the properties provide food and accommodation to female staff, whereas male staff are given allowances for the same. Taramoni was somewhat okay with this proposal and agreed to let her candidates appear for the interview as long as they are provided with food and accommodation or allowances for the same. Furthermore, the group informed that the interview will be directly conducted through the HR of the properties and a 5-day orientation program will be held before sending the candidates off for work. In the end, queries were raised on how much involvement there would be in the entire hiring process, to which they replied that they will keep involvement minimal but send all necessary documentation required to minimize the work hassle for all parties involved. It was reiterated that as long as the requirements are met, which include the safety, security, and well-being of the students and proper follow-up, the partnership is acceptable. They assured that dedicated teams from their end also handle follow-ups and our requirements will be taken care of by their team. Therefore, they have been considered for a probationary partnership with DBJPN and DBIM.
