The Wildlife Institute of India (WII), in collaboration with the Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research (AcSIR), is offering a fully sponsored two-year M.Sc. course in Freshwater Ecology and Conservation.
Key Highlights:
Course Details- A two-year residential course commencing in July 2024, covering theoretical knowledge and field techniques in freshwater ecology and conservation. Twenty seats are available, with a reservation system in place.
Eligibility- A Bachelors degree in Life Sciences or related fields with a minimum of 55% marks (50% for SC-ST) is required. Applicants should be Indian nationals under 25 years of age (relaxation available for reserved categories and in-service candidates).
Selection Process- The selection process involves a National Eligibility Test (NET) , followed by a Personality and Aptitude Test (PAT) in May or June . In-service candidates with five years of experience are exempted from the NET.
Fees and Funding- The course fee is fully sponsored by the National Mission for Clean Ganga (NMCG), and hostel accommodation is provided subject to availability.
