Job Fair at Don Bosco College, Keela Eral

Don Bosco College of Arts and Science, Keela Eral, in collaboration with Don Bosco Vazhikaatti (Trichy), successfully hosted a job fair aimed at empowering local job seekers. The event saw participation from eight companies across sectors such as Finance, IT, Retail, and Manufacturing. Of these, four companies were officially verified by Don Bosco Vazhikaatti, while the other four were arranged independently by the college management. The fair attracted 110 walk-in candidates, with 57 registering through the official portal and 53 registering offline. For data reporting and analysis, official portal registrations were taken as the primary reference.

The event was expertly coordinated under the leadership of Rev. Fr. Rajdevan SDB, Rector and Correspondent of Don Bosco College of Arts and Science, alongside Rev. Fr. Peter SDB, Vice Principal, and Mr. Arumairaj, Senior Coordinator of Don Bosco Vazhikaatti. Interviews formed the core of the selection process, with companies hiring for roles such as Front Office, Food & Beverage, Housekeeping Associate, Team Leader, Gaming Associate, Dealer, and Cash Desk Handling. Thanks to the dedication of the organizing team, the drive recorded impressive results, with over 90 candidates receiving placement offers.

Vibrant participation marked the day, as 110 candidates eagerly engaged in the recruitment process. Impressively, 93 candidates secured job offers, with 40 receiving immediate on-the-spot placements. The day commenced at 10:00 AM with enthusiastic job seekers filling the campus grounds. Following registrations, attendees gathered in the auditorium for the inauguration ceremony, where Ms. Kanmani, Placement Officer, extended a warm welcome, followed by an inspiring inaugural address by Rev. Fr. Rajdevan SDB and a felicitation by Principal Mr. Prabhu.

Mr. Arumairaj from Don Bosco Vazhikaatti introduced the recruiters and highlighted the broader vision and services of the Don Bosco Job Placement Network. The recruitment sessions continued actively until 1:00 PM. The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Rev. Fr. Peter SDB, Academic Coordinator. Special appreciation was extended to Rev. Fr. Daniel Sebastian SDB, Director of Don Bosco Vazhikaatti, Trichy, and Rev. Fr. Gabriel SDB, National Director, for their unwavering guidance and support that made the event a resounding success.
