AIDA Career Guidance and Job Placement Services, Dimapur, organized a Career Guidance Program for school children at New Horizon School, Dimapur, Nagaland. The event aimed to inspire students to set clear career goals and guide them in making informed decisions for their futures. The program featured an insightful goal-setting presentation led by the JPN Coordinator, followed by an uplifting motivational session conducted by Mr. Joachim P.M., Coordinator of AIDA. Mr. Sebi Chacko, the Placement Coordinator for JPN, provided detailed career guidance, discussing the various opportunities within the Science, Arts & Humanities, Commerce, and Common Courses streams. His session helped students gain a deeper understanding of the diverse academic and professional paths they could pursue, enabling them to make well-informed choices about their futures.
A total of 40 students participated, benefiting from expert insights and encouragement to shape their career aspirations. Feedback from students highlighted how the session helped them think about their future paths more clearly, with several expressing gratitude for the valuable guidance. One student mentioned, "I feel more confident about choosing my career now," while another shared, "The session opened my eyes to different fields I never considered before." Teachers also expressed their appreciation, with one noting, "The program provided our students with essential tools to plan for their futures. It was a great learning experience for both them and us."
