Employability Skill Training Programme at Don Bosco Vazhikaatti, Broadway

On 20th January 2025, Don Bosco Vazhikaatti Career Guidance and Job Placement Services, Broadway, organized an Employability Skill Training Programme at their Broadway center. The program was coordinated by Ms. Arularasi, Placement Coordinator, and aimed at equipping job seekers with the essential skills needed to enhance their employability. A total of 45 job seekers participated in the training, where they were provided with valuable insights into developing key skills such as resume writing, interview techniques, communication skills, and time management.

In addition to these skills, the session also covered effective job hunting strategies, introducing participants to various job portals, including the Don Bosco Job Placement Network (JPN) and Jobs DBI, which can help them find job opportunities. Participants learned how to navigate these platforms, build professional profiles, and apply for jobs more effectively. The training boosted their confidence and prepared them to take proactive steps toward securing employment. The event was well-received, with participants expressing appreciation for the practical knowledge they gained, which will help them in their job search and career advancement.
