Job Drive at Don Bosco Vazhikaatti, Perambur

On September 13, 2024, Don Bosco Vazhikaatti in Perambur organized a job drive to help students find employment opportunities. The event was coordinated by Mr. John Martin, Program Manager of the Don Bosco Job Placement Network (DBJPN), and Ms. Arularasi, the Placement Coordinator for JPN Chennai. HR Managers from HDB Financial Services, Mr. Bhuvan and Mr. Balamurugan, conducted one-on-one interviews with 31 participating students. Out of these 31 candidates, 16 were shortlisted for the first round of selection. These individuals were invited to attend a second-round interview at the companys office, where they were given on-the-spot offer letters, ensuring a fast-track recruitment process for those who performed well. The events success was attributed to the leadership and support of Fr. Joe Anand SDB, Director of Don Bosco Vazhikaatti, Perambur, and Fr. Gabriel Karunaraj SDB, National Director of DBJPN. Their involvement was instrumental in ensuring the smooth running and effectiveness of the job drive.
