Job Fair at Don Bosco College, Kohima

AIDA - Don Bosco Career Guidance and Job Placement Services, Dimapur, organized a Job Fair at Don Bosco College, Kohima, on August 24, 2024, in collaboration with the Ministry of Labour and Employments National Career Service Centre for Differently Abled, Dimapur, ST/SC Kohima, and Fernandes and Associate, Goa. The event commenced with an invocation by Rev. Fr. Christudoss Antony SDB, Director of Computer Centre and Campus Administration at Don Bosco College, Kohima, followed by a welcome address from Rev. Dr. Fr. Tious Varghese SDB, Principal of Don Bosco College, Kohima. In his address, he provided valuable insights into the job fairs opportunities and encouraged the aspirants to take full advantage of them. The session continued with brief introductions from participating companies, including Toka MPCS, SBI Life, SeyieAuto, Employment Providers, Fernandes and Associates (Goa), Quess Corp India, WICE Chennai, and Chaiwaale Chennai. The keynote address was delivered by Mr. Savio Visa, Additional Director of Employment, Skill Development, and Entrepreneurship, who expressed his pleasure at the large turnout of aspirants and conveyed an inspiring message to the youth, emphasizing the importance of employment. The job fair attracted more than 500 candidates and featured participation from over eight companies, with over 1,000 job vacancies available, offering significant employment opportunities.
