Job Fair at the Assumption Church Campus in Pezzonipet, Vijayawada

Dhisha Career Guidance and Job Placement Services, Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, organized a job fair at the Assumption Church Campus in Pezzonipet, Vijayawada, on August 23, 2024. The event was inaugurated by Rev. Fr. James SDB, Rector, who welcomed the gathering. Fr. Showri SDB, Vice Rector, delivered a motivational speech, while Fr. Justin SDB, Director of Dhisha, Hyderabad, provided an introduction to Dhisha, the Job Placement Network (JPN), and the job fair itself. Sr. Deepthi, HM, and Mr. Harish, Programme Coordinator-JPN, were also present. Mr. Jayaraj, a Young Professional (YP) with the National Career Service (NCS), shared insights about NCS. Rev. Fr. Jeevan SDB coordinated the entire event, with additional coordination support from Mr. Karthick, Mr. Sagar, and Mr. Ambedkar. A total of 97 job seekers pre-registered for the fair, while 85 more walked in on the day. Fifteen recruiters participated, given 154 job opportunities. By the end of the event, 75 candidates had been selected, with 79 placed on hold. The organizers extended their gratitude to Fr. Sarath SDB, Director, BSK, Fr. Gabriel SDB, Director JPN, and Mr. John Martin, Programme Manager-JPN for their continuous support and guidance.
