"Two Days Staff Capacity Building at Don Bosco Provincial House, Hyderabad"

Don Bosco Job Placement Network (DB JPN) held a two-day staff capacitation event on July 27-28, 2024, at the Don Bosco Provincial House in Hyderabad, Telangana. The event focused on enhancing staff skills in providing effective career guidance, fostering collaboration, and implementing innovative educational programs, training sessions, placement drives, and community initiatives. Rev. Fr. Thomas Santhiagu SDB, the Provincial, inaugurated and addressed the event, with notable figures present including Rev. Fr. Gabriel SDB, National Director of DB JPN, Rev. Fr. Sarath SDB, Director of Bosco Seva Kendra, Fr. Sleevaraj SDB, Director of Dhisha-Vishakhapatnam, Rev. Fr. Justin SDB, Director of Dhisha-Hyderabad, Rev. Fr. Jeevan SDB, Director of Dhisha-Vijayawada, and Rev. Fr. Rajeev SDB, Director of Dhisha-Rayalaseema. Additionally, Mr. Vijay, a Young Professional from Ranga Reddy, and Mr. Vinod, a Young Professional from Kadappa, participated. Regional Coordinators from Hyderabad, Vishakhapatnam, Vijayawada, and Rayalaseema attended the event, guided by Mr. John Martin and Mr. Harish, Programme Managers of DB JPN. Fr. Sarath highlighted the events significance in empowering staff to support youth in their career development. Fr. Gabriel led a session on Youth Ministries, discussing the comprehensive approach of Don Bosco, which spans from childhood to adulthood, aiming for the holistic development of youth. Mr. Vinod and Mr. Vijay, Young Professionals, shared insights on the National Career Service, expressing gratitude to Dhisha for their collaboration and discussing plans for future job fairs and events. Fr. Gabriel also provided an overview of the Job Placement Network Portal and its services, including how to organize job fairs, campus drives, walk-ins, labor market analysis, and career guidance. The session concluded with Directors and Coordinators engaging in a Q&A session to clarify their queries.
