Job Fair at Don Bosco Degree College, Cithradurga

Don Bosco Degree College in Chitradurga, in collaboration with the District Employment Exchange and Don Bosco Job Placement Network, jointly organized a significant Job Fair on August 5th, 2023. The inauguration of the event was graced by esteemed guests, including Dr. Shivashankar K, Chancellor (Examination) of Davangere University, Davangere; Father Sajje George, Principal of Don Bosco College, Chitradurga; and Dr. Joman K. J from Don Bosco Degree College, Chitradurga, who delivered the introductory speech. The event was chaired by Father Sajje George. Notable participants in the event were Mr. Martin, the Project Manager of DB JPN from Delhi; Shri Kishore Kumar, Assistant Employment Officer from Chitradurga; and Shri G. B. Nagaraj, District Correspondent from Prajavani Chitradurga, all of whom took part as Chief Guests. Shri Chetan Kumar.N, the Coordinator of the Job Placement Cell at Don Bosco College, Chitradurga, extended a warm welcome to the attendees. The job fair witnessed the active participation of 20 companies, all of whom engaged in recruiting job seekers. Among the 290 participants in the event, a notable achievement was the placement of 150 individuals in various job opportunities. A special acknowledgment goes to Don Bosco Degree College, Chitradurga, along with Father Deepu SDB and Father Gabrieel SDB, for their invaluable support and guidance in making the event a success.
