Empowering Prospects: A Triumph at the Job Fair for Keralas Tribal Community

Don Bosco Job Placement Network, in partnership with the Ministry of Labour and Employment Kerala, IHRD College, Agali, Attappadi, Kerala, and CII MCC Kerala, successfully organized a highly impactful job fair on July 22, 2023, at IHRD College, Agali, Attappadi in Palakkad District, Kerala, specifically tailored for the Tribal Community. The event showcased a diverse range of opportunities and led to the recruitment of 20 employees from various sectors. The job fair garnered an impressive response, drawing around 140 candidates who attended in person, all displaying their strong determination to secure employment. For many job seekers, this fair proved to be a game-changer, as 45 individuals were fortunate enough to receive on-the-spot job offers, which served as a testament to their skills and qualifications. Furthermore, several candidates were shortlisted for multiple job roles, significantly boosting their prospects of finding suitable employment in the near future. The seamless execution and coordination of the event were the result of the collaborative efforts of several individuals, including Mr. Adarsh from CII MCC State Coordinator, Mr. Sai Dhanesh from CII MCC Placement Coordinator, Ms. Deepa from CII MCC Placement Coordinator, Ms. Divya from IHRD College Placement Officer, and Mr. Harish, the Project Manager of DBJPN. Their collective dedication ensured that the job fair provided an ideal platform for both candidates and employers to connect effectively and efficiently. Overall, this job fair has made a meaningful impact on the lives of the Tribal Community by creating employment opportunities and fostering economic growth in the region.
