HR Summit at Bosco Reach Out, Guwahati

Bosco Reach Out - Career Guidance and Job Placement Services, Guwahati, in partnership with AIDA - Career Guidance and Job Placement Services, Dimapur, hosted an HR Summit on December 17, 2024, at Bosco Reach Out, Guwahati. Rev. Fr. Ignatius Gari SDB, Associate Director, inaugurated the event with a warm welcome and shared insights into the mission and services of Bosco Reach Out. The Guest of Honor, Shri. Arvind K, Assistant Director, NCSC under the Ministry of Labour and Employment, and Shri. Sanatan Das, Sub Regional Officer, NCS Guwahati, addressed the gathering, emphasizing the importance of career services in the region. Their speeches highlighted collaborative opportunities for enhancing job placements and skill development. Mr. Sebi Chacko, Coordinator at AIDA-JPN, presented an overview of the Don Bosco Job Placement Network (DB JPN) at a national level, along with key activities and achievements of BRO and AIDA JPN. The presentation included insights into placement statistics and upcoming initiatives. A group discussion followed, focusing on strategies for collaboration in future placement programs and building stronger ties with industry partners. Participants shared ideas to align efforts and improve the impact of placement services in the region. The summit concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr. Daniel Mardi, Coordinator of BRO JPN, who expressed gratitude to all attendees for their active participation and valuable contributions. Over 20 representatives from 15 companies attended the event, engaging in meaningful discussions and networking. The summit was organized in collaboration with the Employment Exchange Office, Guwahati, and Dr. Reddys Foundation, Guwahati, aiming to strengthen partnerships and enhance career opportunities for youth in the region.
